The mitzvah of אהבת ישראל (Ahavat Yisrael) includes loving every single Jew.[1] This is derived from the verse, " ואהבת לרעך כמוך" - "Love your fellow as yourself."[2] Hillel said that what is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow; this is the entire Torah.[3]

The Arizal explains that all Jews are one body of the soul of Adam HaRishon, and each Jew is a limb.[4] Therefore, one is responsible for another's sins, like a pain in one limb is felt in the whole body.[5] This is why we must love every Jew, because each one includes all the souls of Israel.[6]
Before prayer, one should accept the mitzvah of ואהבת לרעך כמוך (V'ahavta Lerei'acha Kamocha) because it is a great foundation in avodas Hashem.[7]
