בריאה is one of the four spiritual worlds, and represents a level of divine radiation and efflux of vivification.[1]
Definition
The divine radiation and efflux of life-force, issuing from the "breath of His mouth," blessed be He, is categorized into four general levels, corresponding to the four spiritual worlds: אצילות (Atzilut), בריאה (Beriah), יצירה (Yetzirah), and עשיה (Asiyah).[2]
The delight experienced by the souls of the righteous in the upper and lower Gardens of Eden is rooted in their comprehension and perception of G-dliness. These souls attain some level of knowledge and apprehension of the divine light and vitality that radiates in a revealed manner from the Ein Sof, blessed be He, to their souls and their spiritual faculty of understanding.[3]
